Coexistence Foundation is a non-profit working for a society where people live well with one another, with their environment and with the future. We use media, education and partnerships to turn knowledge into change.

People with each other. Inclusion, dialogue, safety and a fair share of opportunity for women, young people and communities left at the margins.
People with nature. A climate and environment that mountain and lowland communities alike can keep living with.
People with the future. The digital, technological and economic skills to take part in what comes next rather than be left behind by it.
Coexistence Foundation is where the impact work of the Ibex group now lives. Ibex Media Network, one of Pakistan's largest digital-first platforms with its roots in the north, Ibex Productions and Ibex Ventures have spent a decade reporting, filming, training and building relationships with government, academia, media and civil society. That capacity, and those relationships, now serve one foundation.
Through our founding partners' work we have served communities across Pakistan, from the mountain valleys where we began to the cities where decisions are made, in Urdu, English and the regional languages our audiences speak.

Learning that fits the world people are entering. Digital skills, media literacy, safe use of the internet, and practical training in AI and new tools for students, teachers, journalists and small businesses. Eco-literacy for schools sits here too.
Leadership, voice and safety for women and girls, and a place at the table for young people, persons with disabilities and marginalised communities. Campaigns against harassment, support for women-led initiatives, and content that shows what inclusion looks like in practice.
Skills and opportunity that turn into income: entrepreneurship training, the creative and digital economy, market access for mountain and rural producers, and pathways for young people into work.
Communities that can talk to each other, and institutions that listen. Dialogue across lines of language, faith and region; support for independent media; and work with legislatures, the judiciary and public bodies so that policy is informed by evidence and by the people it affects.
Making climate change understandable and actionable for the people living with it. Plain-language explainers, campaigns on glaciers, water and biodiversity, and climate communication training for newsrooms and officials.
Recording the knowledge, languages and arts of Pakistan's communities while the people who hold them are still here to share them, and opening that record to researchers, students and the next generation.
Explainers, documentaries, podcasts and campaigns that reach millions on the platforms people already use, in the languages they speak. Content is not an add-on to our programmes; it is how they travel.
Workshops, fellowships and curricula for students, journalists, officials and community members, built from a decade of training newsrooms and institutions.
A network of universities, schools, media houses, public bodies and civil society organisations that carries each programme further than one organisation could, and brings its lessons to the people who make decisions.
Mountain Storytellers is our training programme for people from Pakistan's mountain regions who want to tell their own communities' stories. Four days of hands-on training in documentary filmmaking, ethical storytelling and safety in the field, followed by a film each trainee makes in their own region.
The first cohort came from across Gilgit-Baltistan. Ten of the twelve were women. Every one of them went home and produced a documentary about their own place, screened to a public audience.
